Activity Based "Intelligent" Billing and Availability / Order Access
RentalWorks™ is unique in its use of equipment activity as the basis of its availability and invoicing
calculations. Other inventory management systems rely on users to modify start and stop dates (and split
line items) within the order to reflect activity and produce accurate invoicing and availability calculations. In
RW "Contracts" (official time and date stamped documents) are created whenever there is a movement of
assets (a transfer of responsibility).
Invoicing - Users can easily establish billing periods to meet client expectations - our "intelligent" invoicing
takes care of the rest, automatically adjusting bills to reflect unexpected (early/late) returns or add-ons.
"Oops-free" Availability Calculations - never be fooled again! In RW contracts track the movement of
equipment and ensure that you'll never be looking at an empty shelf because someone forgot to adjust an
order date. Items automatically receive a "Late" status if they are not returned before their "Estimated
Return Date" and availability is adjusted to reflect the activity.
Order Access - the separation of inventory activity from the Rental Order, means that RW users are
never "Locked out". Need to modify your order while the Warehouse is prepping the job? No problem.
Adjust pricing, create POs, even modify quantities - RW makes sure you can immediately meet the client
demand. Add-ons called in after you've shipped? Edit the original order to reflect the additions and send it
out!
